Where one or more of the boys are in college

Summary: Bucky just really wanted some candy - NOT to be mauled by a boobytrapped vending machine in the middle of the night...

Summary: Steve and Bucky are childhood best friends who get separated when they're thirteen and Steve moves away. Five years later, they see each other at a party. ++ It seemed to Bucky that there had to be a certain all-encompassing awkwardness in going up to the guy you loved best when you were twelve and saying “Hey buddy, remember me?”

Summary: Steve Rogers isn't about to let some frat boy jerk like Bucky Barnes show him up, even if it means having to kick Brock Rumlow in the balls.

Summary: Steve and Bucky end up playing for rival college football teams.

Summary: See, here’s the thing: Steve has a problem. His problem is embodied in almost six feet of cocky smiles and toned muscles and tattoos and it starts three weeks into the school year when his life drawing professor announces that they’re finally moving onto studying the human form and says, “This is James. He’s going to be our first model.” And the guy steps up onto the platform in the middle of the room and undresses without a lick of self-consciousness, smirking all the while, and Steve thinks, Oh, hell. OR: Steve is an art student and Bucky is a figure model and a lot of pining happens.

Summary: College AU. May contain exchange students, a Starbucks addiction, daddy issues, anger issues, closets and how to get out of them, the ever-ominous influence of social networks, various levels of betrayal, awfully poor life choices, but also, ultimately, real chunks of love.

Summary: Steve's never met his Psych TA in person, but he's a little obsessed with their snarky, flirty email conversations. Steve's never made any headway with the hot guy who sits in front of him in Psych, but he's a little obsessed with his mouth.

Summary: He headed in the general direction of his dorm, phone in hand, and when he finally managed to unlock it, he gaped, glad he hadn’t opened it in class. Because the most recent message in a set of nine texts and a single photo message, was my fingers don’t feel as good as your mouth baby, come home? From an unknown number. Okay. Hmm.

Summary: Steve’s heart stopped for the second time that hour, and his body froze. He was going to die from a heart attack today, he just knew it. His headstone would read: Here lies Steve Rogers, a man killed by too many faux pas in one day.

Summary: “You know what I think, Rogers?” Bucky is whispering right in his ear, low and filthy and smug. He can’t get his mouth to close in order to form words, so he just shakes his head. “I think you might be a little into guys.” Steve would argue, but he’s currently leaking a shocking amount of precome onto another man’s fist, so… Fair assessment, I guess.

Summary: When Bucky Barnes needs extra money, he’s appalled that his best friends think he should become a model for the art department on campus. Shy, nerdy, and socially awkward, he’s not sure that’s something he feels comfortable doing. Still, he needs money, and he likes the idea of becoming someone’s muse. The problem is he had no idea two things would happen. First, one of the students in the class is exactly his type; second, he has to model nude.

Summary:

Bucky Barnes doesn’t have time for anything impractical, especially gen ed classes that waste his time and distract him from his engineering degree. That’s why he waits until his last semester in college to sign up for a music appreciation class, which is the only thing standing between him and graduation. When his professor walks into the classroom, Bucky’s brain short-circuits. Although he’s sure he’ll never be good enough for someone so suave, intelligent, and successful, that doesn’t stop Bucky from wanting to find out what’s underneath starched button downs and jackets with corduroy elbow patches.

A decade into his academic career, Steve Rogers is burned out—not because he doesn’t love his job but due to the bone deep, aching loneliness that dogs him during the empty hours after classes and countless faculty meetings. It’s just his luck that a long-haired, one-armed veteran turns up in one of his classes with a scowl, obvious self-esteem issues, and a chip on his shoulder. Although Steve won’t cross the line between student and professor, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t long for something more, especially when Bucky seems to need him as much as Steve wants someone to love.

Summary:

“What? Y’never suck a dick before, Rogers?”

Steve can’t even stop the hysterical bubble of overcompensated laughter that escapes out his open mouth. It’s loud and such an extreme reaction that Steve can’t take back, makes his cheeks heat right back up. He shuffles on his feet, bounces on the balls of them a few times, has another round of giggles as he chugs the rest of his beer.

“N-nah, I...fuck, yeah no I haven’t really—”

---

Steve's fraternity throws a kegger. The star of the football team shows up.

Summary:

“Have you always struggled with math, Steve?” Dr. Potts asked.

The blush crept higher as the same shame that he had felt since the second grade crawled up his spine.

“You’re not the only one.” She assured, handing the papers back to him. “Luckily, you can get one-on-one tutoring at the student center, your tuition covers two sessions per week.”

“Thank you ma’am.” Steve accepted the paper and stood, sliding his backpack over his shoulders. Making his way out of her office he paused when she called his name. “Ma’am?”

“Ask for Bucky Barnes.” Her lips turned up at the name. “He’s one of the math majors that I oversee, haven’t had a student work with him who hasn’t passed.”

No pressure, Steve thought. “I’ll make sure to do that. Thank you Dr. Potts.”

“Good luck Steve.”

He didn’t need luck, he needed a miracle.
