This is a space for the shrinky fics that don’t fit into other categories
Summary:
He's not sure how it happened. One moment, he was the Winter Soldier, and the next he's working in a Brooklyn coffee shop, where the prickly owner is someone who treats him like a person, not a machine. And just maybe, he can be a person again.
Summary: There is a way these things are done; this is not it. -- Or the one where Steve belongs to the Winter Soldier.
Summary: Steve Rogers spends his days between his 9-to-5 job at Stark Industries, his dark erotic art side hustle, and his passion for the BDSM community. It might not be very common, but it's his life, and he likes it just fine the way it is. That is, until a six-foot tall, near mute, probably highly traumatized guy in full leather gear calling himself 'The Soldier' falls into his lap one day.
Summary: Soulmates can relieve their own pain by sending it to their other half, something Hydra had utilized with the Winter Soldier. So the day Clint made a remark that had him pulling on a thread he'd always ignored, Bucky was faced with the knowledge he'd been unknowingly making some innocent person suffer all this time. And Steve, a YouTuber with a cooking channel, just trying to get by with his myriad of health problems and the constant assault from his asshole soulmate, had just got hired by Pepper Potts to be the new live-in chef at Avenger's tower. Lip curling, Steve met his pale eyes, hating that he’d ever found them attractive. “You don’t know shit about me, dick head. So why don’t you go fuck yourself with that enormous shitbag personality of yours?” The asshole just huffed, flexing his arm, clearly trying to intimidate. “Your work ethic says plenty, but hey, I’m not the one paying you, though don’t think I won’t be sharing what a fucking great fella you are—sleeping on the job and backtalking to the people you’re supposed to be working for.” For Square B2-Enemies to Lovers-for Steve Rogers Bingo 2022
Summary: After assembling their own Infinity Gauntlet, the Avengers defeated Thanos and brought back everyone who disappeared. But their victory came at a great cost: in order to take the Soul Stone, Steve had to sacrifice the Captain America mantle and all the super-soldier strength that came with it. Small and sickly again, Steve’s poor health soon reaches a breaking point and his last option is a difficult surgery only Shuri and her team can perform. But not all hurts can be fixed with medicine, and the real healing begins after the operation -- when Bucky asks Steve to stay in Wakanda with him.
Summary: Going to a professional Dom may be one of the weirdest things Bucky’s ever done. Especially since this skinny Steve Rogers guy doesn’t really look the part. But hey, they might just find a way to make this work.
Summary: Six months after escaping Hydra and securing a pardon from the U.S. government for his service and heroism during World War II, Bucky’s desperately trying to dissociate from his alter ego and put his life back together so he can find some semblance of peace. When his court-mandated therapist orders him to attend an art therapy class to deal with his trauma, Bucky’s sure he’s going to hate it. Steve, the initially grumpy, high-strung course instructor pushes all of Bucky’s buttons, but he’s also smart, disarmingly funny, and remarkably kind. Although he feels like he’s been painted into a corner, Bucky wonders if Steve can help him find his way out and discover a reason to live again.
Summary:
A traumatised assassin fresh out of helicarriers, struggling to make sense of his world. A devoted single Dad, 39 weeks pregnant with his second child. A four year old with Steve Rogers’ genes.
Trap them in a cellar during a hurricane. See what happens.
Summary:
Steve is SHIELD's secret weapon - infused with serum, enough to make him stronger, faster, enhanced, and yet because of his size, nobody ever suspects him. When he's assigned to take down the Winter Soldier, he never thought he would meet his match but here he is, trapped, with no way out.
Or, maybe one way out.
Summary:
Bucky locks eyes with the small blond haired man. The want written on his face is unmistakable. Bucky nods, once, and the man swallows hard before licking his lips and giving a short nod in return. Next to the sub, Sonya grins and nods her head in Bucky’s direction.“I don’t do unplanned back to back sessions,” he tells the sub when he approaches Bucky and kneels.“That’s okay, I—. Um. I was here last night. But I saw that you were scheduled for tonight, so I…”“Thought you’d come watch?”“Thought I’d come talk to you. Sir.”This close, Bucky can see how obscenely long the man’s eyelashes are, as he looks up at Bucky through them, a slight pink dusting his cheeks.“What did you want from me?”“Pain,” the sub breathes, and fuck if Bucky’s dick doesn’t take interest in this conversation.
On the advice of Natasha, Bucky joins a BDSM club as an addition to his therapy and the other activities he does to aid with his mental recovery from all of HYDRA's fucking around. It's there that he meets Steve, and his life forever changes in ways he'd never imagined possible.
Pretty As A Picture
Summary:
The butterfly effect is the idea that even a small change can lead to a significant difference.
Bucky's evening exemplifies this theory. A night at a society gathering alters his world when an irritating smear on humanity provokes Bucky to make impulsive decisions and indulge in his hidden, darker desires. After spending half a million dollars, he acquires a treasure that holds immeasurable value.
Summary:
Tldr: Steve has an eventful three weeks.
Longer version:
Steve Rogers is quite happy with his pleasantly simple life working as a graphic designer, chatting with his best friend Sam who has the desk next to his, eating the same gluten free sandwich for lunch every day, and staring out his office window hoping to catch a glimpse of The Charming Man walking by.
Unfortunately, life has a tendency to get complicated without our permission, particularly when Steve begins to suspect that a certain evil corporation is doing criminal things that decidedly grate on his nerves.
Will Steve find himself over his head (which is precisely 5’5” inches off the ground)? I'll never tell.
(Yes. The answer is yes.)(also this is a slow burn on the action front. But there is action)
Summary:
Bucky Barnes is an average guy. He likes cosy nights in, cheesy rom-coms... Oh, and obsessively researching the supernatural.
With the paranormal season fast approaching, paranoia is at an all-time high. Bucky is determined to keep his boyfriend, Steve, safe.
Too bad he doesn't know that Steve's a werewolf himself — and his wolf form is a tiny, fluffy Pomeranian...
